I havn't ridden on it for a while but I reckon the best mk1 bus is 865, god it runs well and the drivers seat is a national.

drivers seat is a national.
A lot of drivers would certainly not agree with you. The national seat is certainly isn't very good at all. As far as seats go the top of the line ISRI seat fitted to the MANs is the best. Other than that the most comfortable seat I have sat in is the one fitted to 991, it is the only bus to my knowledge with that seat.

The national seats are slowly been removed and replaced with KAB seats. I found the seat quite comfortable but drivers have said that it doesn't raise high enough.

Also encountered.... THE HAT.

Who is the hat?

Snorzac

A female driver who wears a weird little hat and has a... well... different driving style.

CNG

Yes I know that  driver,  she is very good. A floater I believe, had her couple of times. The hat makes the ride more pleasent.

Snorzac

LOL!!!!!! I reckon most would dis-agree with the part about her been good

what do you mean I reckon shes probably the most responsible out of most the drivers at ACTION. However she did have some trouble when she was once driving an irisbus, she kept telling me that the bus was too low. However the irisbuses are annoiying.

Should start a new topic called the HAT. Na only joking

Presumably you mean 719 and 720, given that as King Long mentioned, 819 and 820 aren't part of the fleet anymore, and weren't artics.

310 (905) I didn't think that it was possible for any Iris to be as fucked as 315... I was wrong

Buzz Killington

And given that was the demonstrator... presumably they decided to purchase the Irises based on its performance!

939 (898) surprised to see the usual driver in a standard, confused everyone by not been a 'green bus' and the driver been the first to arrive, she's usually the last.
128 (312) I was very impressed with this bus.
