What the hell is a jump seat? As far as i am aware there are no staff only rear facing fold down seats on action buses

Bus 400

A bus driver board member may be able to confirm my answer. A jump seat is the term given to the seat right near the front doors. The MkII's & Darts are the only buses not to have a jump seat.

That is completely not the definition of a jump seat.

Todd, if you may...

Sir Pompously

Jump seat is a common term in Aviation for a spare seat in the Cockpit, and the flight attendants seats can also be referred to as a Jump Seat.

Yes, and the Darts and CB60s have seats similar in the wheelchair bay(s)

Don't forget the Irisbuses

Sir Pompously

Jump seat is not a common term for the Gunzel seat. It is a gunzel or foamer seat. Jump seat is a new one, but not often heard nor used to describe this seat. True, however, that the wheelchair bay seats can technically be described as such. As can seats like those found on Japanese buses, an extra fold down seat attatched to each row of seats.

One thing they did not mention is aviation, but that is obvious.

I think it does the same 312 every morning. I have seen it a few times doing that. It leaves Tuggeranong at about 7:30am

Was that run with 926 your usual morning 313 service, Lemon?

(I notice your usual 313 has limped in to Cohen St Bus Station just a wee bit late these last few days...)
