Nobody puts Baby in the corner.....

Well, someone put me on the corner......To be specific, it was the corner of Coulter Dr and Ogilby Cres in Page, in mid afternoon, with *PERFECT* sun (ATTN: It wasn't really perfect), and I got these photos, same location, various angles;


First up, it's Irisbus Agoraline 313 operating a 312 bound for Spence.



Articulated bus, Renault 180.2 MkI 704 running a School Bus service down Coulter Dr. I did my best for a bus doing 80km/h!



AOA Bus, Renault 100.2 MkII 880 still in AOA for iiNet.



993, A Renault 100.3 with an AD body operating a School bus.



Renault 100.2 MkI, 764, on a School bus route, with that 'Bus Advertising' bus advertising.



Just missed the *PERFECT* lighting on 992, a Renault 100.3 with an AOA for Canberras sister city, Nara, in Japan.



Another Irisbus Agoraline, this time, 300 on a 315 to Spence.

Just in case you haven't seen the new P&D body and Deanes transit Group livery, here it is on DBL 41 (Volvo B7R).



And the rear. Very nice LEDs, I'm jealous.
Don't know why those 2 photos turned out so badly, maybe because they're taking a photo of a Deanes bus
Naaaaah, Deanes are a great operation!

Some interesting photos there....and a good spot for bus action. You got the light just right.  It's a great time of the year for interesting light effects.

Late last week, the early morning fog effects combined with the rising sun produced some remarkable scenes as I ventured north over the Lake and north through Civic on the 0642 No 300 North (especially looking through to Black Mountain tower from Civic)....wished I'd had my camera and wasn't driving a bus that time.

You're right about the fog, smitho. I was out in the car a fair bit early and late in the day last week and it was very thick rather late into the morning and very early in the evening.

But regarding the photos, some of your best work! 764, 864, 704 and 880 are my favourites there. Some definite contenders for August's photo!

Ahhh I love 992, it may be slow but that paint scheme is delicious. Too bad you just got it in the shadows, otherwise it would have been 'Perfect'!

Love the new look DBL P&D Volvo, I reckon a Volvo Grille inbetween the headlights would make that bus.

My pick of the bunch is BUS 313, a very nicely composed photograph.

Yeah, I was absolutely "spewin'" at the 992 photo, as I just missed the sun, but I'm sure there'll be more opportunities in the future for a photo of 992.

Yeah, early mornings, that is one time I'd definately love to be driving, just stunned by the rising sun, the changing colours, it so....inspirational.
