Sir Pompously

Whilst waiting to head out on an 8 to Fyswhick, I decided to walk around and try and grab some photos and see if I could track down the MAN. Although 8 is a lucky number, yesterday was not lucky for me and I did not run into the MAN anywhere!

BUS-361 a Scania L94UB is laying over, ready to run a 818 School Bus Service. It is seen on Paramatta Street, Phillip

BUS-311 an Irisbus Agoraline is seen negotiating a round-a-bout on Athllon Drive outisde Marist College Canberra

Snorzac

I think the MAN is having a few teething problems but I am hoping it will be back on the road soon.

Sir Pompously

The MAN has been around, infact about every day. So it is just catching up with it that is the problem, as it is normally back in the depot by Nightfall!

Snorzac

Do you mean doing route services if so has it being to any intertown runs? If it's doing route services I will hunt it out on Thursday

Sir Pompously

It has been doing both, and has been for about a week or so.

Snorzac

COOL, I will keep an eye out for it

bubzie

it normally does a southbound 63 leaving woden at around 10am...i've seen it do that service..twice.

Snorzac

alright mod day buspedition now starting woden 1003am with the 63 followed by an intertown ride to belco movie and we'll take it from there

Buzz Killington

nice photos todd.

is it just me, or do not many of the Scanias have the inverted desto on school runs anymore?

Snorzac

that would have to be the first inverted desto i've seen in atleast a year maybe more.

Busnerd

School buses have always have inverted desto's on scanias, they used to have the side inverted too but apparently it was hard to read so it is normal on the side but still inverted on the front, which is a good idea and looks very nice imo

Buzz Killington

they dont always have it inverted on the front anymore. more often than not, they are not inverted.
