ACTION would like to apologise for unexpected delays and cancellations this week, particularly during the morning peak.

During the weekday morning peak (7.30am to 9am) ACTION makes every effort to deliver all 726 services. There is a reserve of spare drivers and buses, mini vans and a system in place to cover popular peak routes. Despite all efforts, sometimes a cancelled or delayed service can't be avoided. There are many reasons for this; it could be due to a breakdown, traffic conditions or a medical emergency of a passenger. Our drivers are human too, and are subject to the same life events as our valued commuters.

This week, ACTION has had a number of buses out of service due to unforeseen circumstances including graffiti attacks, collision damage and delays receiving spare parts. Our workshop has also had a number of unplanned absences. These delays may continue until the end of the week.

It's important to note, school runs take priority and will always be covered.

We understand that delays and cancellations are frustrating and we want you to know that we are listening and taking measures to rectify these issues. If you require assistance, please call 13 17 10.

For those riders with a Twitter account, we recommend you follow@ACTIONBusAlertsfor live service updates during the morning peak.

Providing the best service to our riders is our priority. We thank you for your patience during this time.

Anyone had any issues this week?
