Members are invited to nominate one of their photos for Photo of the Month. The winner gets their photo on the front page of the ACT Bus website for August.

Nominations are open until next Friday 24 July 2009.

Sir Pompously

I know what competition I am up against again this month, from wide range of competitors. So it has been a difficult choice choosing this months photo for submission, knowing what I am up against from past month's work.

After much deliberation, I have decided on the following photo:

BUS-377 a MAN 18.310CNG is seen at Cohen Street Bus Station in the afternoon light on a cold winters day

Here's some competition Todd!

BUS-961 seen in the City Bus Interchange operating a route 934 on a cold winters morning

Bus 400

326-Campbell Park Terminus
I was tossing up between 2 pictures. But this one has different scenery. The ramp is only down to "disable" the bus.

Will post a photo soon, still deliberating a worthwhile photo.

Hey, there's actually a bike on 961's bike rack!

Buzz Killington

...the joke being that half the photos of buses with bike racks down don't actually have bikes on them.

One more day to nominate your photos, people!

Can't really find a good photo as such, so this will be my contribution;

Dennis Dart SLF 132 with a Wright Crusader body is seen travelling down Nettleford St in the afternoon sun with a Renault PR100.2 MkI seen in the background.

Yeah, don't think my avatar will win too many votes either, ha ha.
