In a spate of typically New South Wales vandals 754 was brazenly attacked whilst sleeping out at TISC the other day..

Busnerd

no CT, its fake, of course its fkn real!

Buzz Killington

moving this to the photo section...

pretty funny tho

Sir Pompously

Bastards, now it will get a MkII Livery with the white panel at the rear and look all wrong. I will hunt them down and slap them till they cry because of this.

Buzz Killington

it'll look great with a fresh paint job

Jack Bauer

Buzz Killington

btw my last post is a personal joke that only Busnerd will understand

Irisbus Rider

Where was this done? Sydney?

And who took the photo?

Gees, wow, that's quite, yeah, wow.....
They probably won't bother to repaint it :P

Irisbus Rider

Busnerd

John, you've been there!

The Transport & Industry Skills Centre - Where the bus roadeo was held John.

Priscilla provided the photo via MMS thismorning.

Buzz Killington

you were out there all frigging day on Roadeo 06...

Irisbus Rider

Ah, ok, so, it was in the TIDC on Sutton road, then this happens? Gees, thats not good.....

Irisbus Rider

Good news all;

Saw it at Tuggy Inter yesterday!

Sir Pompously

Looks very fresh, clean and new. However you can still see on some of the black parts of the windows where it was done over.

Busnerd

Aah great, black to its sexy naked self...love the white rear panels on the mk1's, looks nice!

Trolleybusracer

Now if the goverment was Smart (ROFL) they would of used that bus as the new ACTION logo bus

Bus 400

Was this just a computer paint job or did it really occur & not of that LOL. You lot trick me too easily.

Trolleybusracer

your avatar says it all

Its real...

Buzz Killington

Mr Renault Rider, i have something to tell you, something that may shock and discredit you, and that thing is as follows

ITS NOT A REPAINT AT ALL

i got close enough to the right hand side of 754 today to see that they have simply "cleaned" the bus. If you look at the white panel behind the last window you can clearly see blue scrubbing marks, and the blue paint is clearly not fresh - there are chipped areas and clear residue outlines from where the advert stickers were.

Irisbus Rider

Yeah, damn, thanks for that confirmation.

It definately would have bene cheaper and quicker to clean it, so that makes sense, yeah.....

Buzz Killington

FYI i did try to find the image of hutz waving his arm at the judge with his tie hanging out of his sleeve, but that was the closest image i could find.

Irisbus Rider

Bene? I think you mean "been" Busnerd.....

belcodriver

You've only got the RHS of 754's unauthorised paint scheme here, the LHS was completely different. I've got a few pics of both sides taken in the Belco workshops (unfortunately from my phone camera) that I'd be happy to post up except I'm not sure how to do that.

Do I put the photos up on the web somewhere and then provide the URL in the post text?

Busnerd

Well if you have the photos on your computer you can just go 'reply' and then click the additional options tab and upload the photos to your post.

If they arent on the computer just mms them to your email address.

Buzz Killington

wow, thanks for the shots! i actually really like it! haha

Irisbus Rider

It's a better paint job than ACTION would ever do!

But seriously, these young punks went to a hell of a lot of work to do that, as well as using a lot of paint. Waste of space, they are.

So, how'd they get it all off? Send it through the bus wash a few times? ha ha.

Buzz Killington

would've turned a few heads on its way back to the depot..

Snorzac

Thaey would have used a lot of paint to do that.

Trolleybusracer

Wow Nice!

I love the front left wheel

You want ACTION?

Busnerd

Bunch of losers...they aren't actually that bad, so if they took it the right way they could get payed to do legal grafiti

Buzz Killington

until steve pratt comes along with a bucket and sponge..

Sir Pompously

It will teach ACTION To never leave anything in NSW (Or close to it) ever again. Looks colourful, maybe ACTION employed them to design the reconciliation liveries?

Simes

Best looking renault I've ever seen  ;D

Although it shows pretty poorly on ACTION's fleet utilisation that a bus can sit around long enough for a piece like that to be painted on it

They would of removed it using a cocktail of chemicals, it would of basically washed off

Ha ha, yeah.

You do have a point, it shouldn't have even been out there in the first place, and to complete such a job like that, would have taken careful planning and consideration, a lengthy process, particularly for the calibre of people that would have undertaken this job.

Trolleybusracer

yes but no

a few sites do have Outlines of certain vehicles that they can practice on before doing the real thing!

Irisbus Rider

Wow, thats........crazy!!!
