Thank you, I'll be here all week!

In all seriousness, there is a bit of trouble within the hierachy of ACTION;

The union representing bus drivers says it is confident it can resolve issues that have led to a petition against the head of ACTION in Canberra.

About 300 ACTION workers have signed the petition calling for Tim Swift to stand down.

It claims workers have not been provided with a safe working environment, leading to a high rate of employee compensation claims.

Transport Workers Union spokesman Ben Sweaney says there was a positive meeting with management today.

"The negotiations this morning have been very constructive," he said.

"We're confident we'll be able to work with the CEO of TAMS (Territory and Municipal Services) and senior representatives in identifying the issue and how we work forward and how we progress them."

Lets hope it doesn't have to come to striking......

Sir Pompously

If it comes to striking, I am sure many would love to be armchair strikers while watching Fox8.

A Driver told me about a strike at an operator in Sydney, where he showed up to work and the Union and the drivers were blocking the gates with a barbeque fired up, serving out egg and bacon rolls. So he had a few rolls, spoke to the other drivers for a few hours, then went home.
Not at all a bad experience for the drivers!

Yes, nice experience, but also the most expensive bacon and egg roll ever! Don't get paid for the day.
