Punchbowl brand new EvoII Scania

Thanks for the sms from Ken in his poang last night, I managed to get a photo of this brand new Scania K230UB which was only delivered a week earlier. It was operating route 7A or 7B. I was at Olympic Park on a 1B and got the shot during the State of Origin.

Lol, Poang.
Firstly, very nice photo, came out brilliantly considering there were a few shadows on the bus, top job!

But, what bizarre bodywork, the black windowline definately helps it blend, but it still looks odd.
Interesting to note PBC Goulburn ended up with the Volgren, and PBC Sydney haven't chosen to continue purchasing Volgren, they must've been very impressed by the product (I am aware the Volgren was a one off purchase). And the shortbase buses live on, I see!

agree with 'Rider - very odd bodywork. The windowline doesn't blend well at all.
