Deano and myself drove through Custom coaches yesterday and saw heaps of new gas mercs sitting there with their pods opened up, being prepared for delivery, also a drive around the nearby IVECO, MAN and Mercedes factories also found more gas mercs being prepared for delivery, buses that had acceditation had Ryde, Port Botany and Liechardt on the side of them, none of K as yet..we also saw some new artics being built, I saw 1701 inside the factory and some frames of some more buses and also some new busways buses sitting there awaiting delivery.
Certainly fun times ahead.

I must say I was very impressed with the interior of the new gasies from my short sample of it on Sunday, they seem promising performance wise compared to their predecessors. Although I'll wait to sample them on the 400, that'll be the test for me.....
Yeah, I heard people say the Merc Gassie O405NHs when new were like those O500s, and they continued to say; "Give the O500s a year of two, they'll be like the O405NHs".
I'll wait and see, although from what I remember, they were slightly faster than now, but still noticeably sluggish, I didn't get that impression with the O500
