Bus 735 was a MAN SL202 CNG Evaluator.
Notes
- Bus 735 was originally intended to be a evaluation vehicle alongside its sister unit, Bus 734, which operated on diesel. However, ACTION cancelled the order and MAN instead purchased the bus as a CNG demonstrator.
- There is some uncertainty as to whether this bus saw revenue service. It was loaned to ACTION in 1992 for a six week trial with the intention of being operated in service.
- The Natural Gas used during the trial period was donated by AGL.
- After its time in Canberra, it operated for Bathurst Coaches NSW (Fleet Number 8, Registration MO 667) and Highway Hiker, Murray Bridge SA (Fleet Number 5, Registration WZV 651)
