Phase One of Network 08 commenced 2 June 2008. It comprised of the new Network 08 services on Weekdays and old Network 06 services on weekends until a sufficient number of drivers could be recruited to implement the new Network 08 services on weekends.
The major changes introduced with Network 06 were large cuts to frequency across the board. 40 minute frequencies were cut to 60 minutes. Flexibus was also scrapped and fixed night and weekend loop services returned. Nightrider and Christmas Day services were also renumbered, and a few peak Gungahlin services were cut. The Network was met with much criticism due to the service cuts. (more…)
Network 99 saw only timetable changes from the previous network and the deletion of Route 166.
