The Urban Transit Authority of Sydney has lent ACTION a Mercedes-Benz O.405 bus, the latest model from the company, to evaluate.
ACTION’S general manager, Mr Glen Gaskill, said on Wednesday that the O.405 was the successor to the Mercedes-Benz O.305, of which ACTION has 81.
Beginning immediately at Belconnen, the vehicle will be based at each Canberra depot for about 10 days where drivers and mechanics will evaluate it.
The public is invited to pass comments on the bus either to the driver or to ACTION’S customer-relations section, telephone 462193.
