The model 870-982 class Renault PR100.2 Mk2 chassis were assembled by MACK Trucks in Brisbane and then freighted to Melbourne. Ansair Bus and Coach Division at Tullamarine built the bodies.
Compared to the Mk1 model, the Mk2 class had a body upgrade, a changed seating layout resulting in an increase from 42 to 43 seats, electronic destination equipment, and AM/FM radios.
ACTION purchased 113 of the Mk2 Renault PR100.2.
