ACTION’s Tuggeranong Depot is located in the Town Centre suburb of Greenway, with the main entrance located on Scollay Street and another entrance at the rear of the workshops on Reed Street.

The complex was constructed in the early 1990s at a cost of $8.8 million. It features undercover parking for 190 buses, a bus wash, tennis court, gymnasium, workshop, diesel and compressed natural gas fueling and driver amenities.

At the time, ACTION had hoped that the design of the Tuggeranong Depot would be the template for their next depot, which was planned for the Ginninderra area in the late 1990s.

ACTION Head Office was initially located on the site, but in the 2000s these functions were co-located with the ACT Government’s Territory and Municipal Services directorate in Canberra City. Medicare Australia now occupies this building. .

As of January 2013, Tuggeranong Depot features buses from every class in the ACTION Fleet, excluding Irisbus Agoraline, of which all twenty are located at Belconnen.
