ACT Policing attended the scene of an accident on Tom Roberts Avenue in Conder on Wednesday morning (4 July 2012), where a car collided with the rear of an ACTION Bus.

The accident was caused by the motorist having an obscured view due to frost on her windscreen. The 20-year-old driver, who suffered minor injuries, will be issued with a Traffic Infringement Notice for ‘driving a vehicle without clear view’.

An ACT Bus forum member reported passing by the scene a short time later and identified the bus as Bus 986, a Renault PR180.2 (Mk2) articulated bus from Tuggeranong Depot, and indicated that the bus sustained little or no damage.
