Quote from: Sylvan Loves Buses on October 18, 2017, 10:23:25 amWait, I'm confused, is this a bus interchange or station?Cause looking through all the advertising, bus books and the layout of the stops, the title is deceptive.
Quote from: Sylvan Loves Buses on October 18, 2017, 10:23:25 amOn a side note, looking at the photos it seems the same person is responsible again for that ridiculous distance between the two shelters just like at the Wanniassa P&R stop...
Quote from: King of BusesBesides, why call it a "Bus Station" when it is intended to be a transfer point between different public transport modes in future?
Quote from: SLBWe've gone from "Bus Interchange" to "Bus Station" back to "Interchange without Bus(es)" within a 10ish year period - can't they make their bloody minds up already?
Quote from: King of BusesBy putting the shelter at the very front of each platform means buses can stop at the front of the platform allowing more than one or two buses to fit on each platform at a time. Might as well use all the space that's there rather than chuck a shelter right against Northbourne Ave on both sides.
Quote from: Sylvan Loves Buses on October 19, 2017, 10:42:03 amTrue, but unless the 200's are stopping/passing inside there too, I don't think there's going to be much pilling up with 4 routes, even during peak - esp as the northbounds have to go to the intersection first just to come back around. Also imo I think that the shelters should've be placed closer to the shops as apposed to closer to Northbourne.
