Quote from: Barry Drive on March 14, 2016, 06:46:44 pmTL;DR (not in full - yet)But I didn't notice any mention of Jacka, Moncrieff, Casey Group Centre, Lawson. Any reorganised network must cater for these areas as their first priority. The challenge is to improve / increase services in new suburbs by removing services where there is less demand. (This is what certain critics on twitter especially don't seem to understand - every "cut" to an established service is done to provide a bus where there is greater demand.)

Quote from: Bus 503 on March 14, 2016, 08:09:28 pmIt's starting to look like Lawson are going to be very reliant on Kaleen. They'll use Kaleen roads, bus services, schools, shops and services. I'm puzzled about why the Government didn't install anything, like shops in Lawson. I also find it disappointing that Lawson was built in the first place. The ACT Government destroyed the habitats of many native animals, without so much of a thought.

Quote from: Barry Drive on April 11, 2016, 11:25:54 amDon't take this as criticism - but you can see why bus route design isn't that easy when they build roads like that.I can't imagine that Moncrieff would have bus services along Gaston/Slim Dusty/Yamma. Not having seen where bus stops have been marked out, I would think they would stick to Mirrabei and Bernard Heinze with Crackajack and O'Keefe as possibles.Dalkin Cres and Neil Currie St may possibly too narrow for bus routes to operate on, based on the Streetview images.
Quote from: King of Buses on April 11, 2016, 11:56:26 amMoncrieff has stops on Gaston, Slim Dusty, Mirrabei, O'Keefe, Bernard Heinze and Crackajack...Casey buses could always run along like now and loop down Kingsland Pde and turnaround? Besides, most of these roads wouldn't be worse than the other half of Gungahlin...
