Title: Once Upon A Bus Stop
Post by: Bus 400 on September 12, 2012, 09:17:17 PM
From time to time, we see bus stops that bus routes still fly past but no longer service that bus stop. The bus stop may of been moved due to its dangerous location (Giralang rings a bell), or it is a tad hard for a bus to turn right from the far left lane on a 5 lane road (Belconnen Way). Whatever the reason, I'll post some up as I find them.

This first stop would date back from at least the old 12,13 & 14 from Network 1957. This stop is right outside the Shell service station on Hopetourn Circuit, Deakin.

Now while this bus stop is directly opposite the above photo, the pad style appears to indicate an era similar to those around Holt/Higgins.
