Does anyone remember what the old MAN/Merc Artics had on the screen when someone pressed the next stop bell?

The Love Guru

Merc artics were near identical to the PR180.2s interior wise (obviously with blue seats). They had identical bus stop displays to the .2's. As for the artic MAN's, most had the blue bus stopping sign same as the rigids, though i do recall one of the MAN Artics having a red sign that was still in german, was highly amusing.

Yeah that's the one I was talking about, I was told about it this week & thought it was amusing bit of history on a bus.

anyone happen to know which one it was?

Sir Pompously

One of the Goppell bodied ones, that is known. Not sure if it was the Penzberg/Augsburg or just the Augsburg bodied vehicles.

As stated on the ATDB the red stop sign stated 'Wagen Halt' which is basically Wagon/Car/Vehicle Stop.

The German 'Next Stop' sign read 'Wagen Halt'. I think it's fairly clear what that translates as.

It'd be good to find out what one it was, so we can put it into the Wiki
