Here is the final part of the open day pictures, next I will post a trip report for the day which will include my trip to the airport and the charity flight (QF2294) as well as many more pictures.

Virgin Blue 737-700 VH-VBK, 'Lady Victoria' on display

Virgin Blue Embraer E 190 VH-ZPN, Kanga Blue, is seen on short finals for runway 35

Qantaslink Dash 8-Q400 VH-QOP is also seen on finals for runway 35

This plane has changed so much since I flew on it, Virgin's oldest VH-VBA known as Brizzie Lizzie is seen on finals. When I flew on her she had no winglets and no live 2 air inflight entertainment.

Qantas were nice enough to open the huge General Electric engine of 767-338ER VH-OGQ, Birdsville.

Over to the Virgin terminal now where you see one of the older Q400s, VH-QOF, taxiing for a runway 35 departure

VH-QOP on it's way back to Sydney

767-338ER VH-OGQ "Birdville' is towed back to the Qantas terminal to operate QF562

The battery operated tug is seen towing VH-QOS 'Mildura' over to the terminal to operate charity flight QF2294

Last of all it's Connie heading home, wow this aircraft is amazing, it was worth paying the $2 to get on and look at it!

Trip report is coming soon!
