Sir Pompously

As the board was down when I was compiling this collection, I will show you part 3 (I think) of my trip to Japan. This time being a seaside town of Kamakura, which is about 50km south of Tokyo on the Shonan-Shinjuku line and the Sobu Line (Rapid Service) with JR. More can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/kommissar_todd06/sets/72157603583223299/

A View up towards the railway station and city centre, on a beautiful sunny day

Anyone up for some Cake? Apparently thats what a burger is at Freshness Burger

I think someone is employing the "If I can't see it, it is not there" policy. If you don't look at your feet the seas of Japan are beautiful!

A Typical Police Box or Kōban (交番) on the beach side

The beach and the beach road running along side of it

Thanks

Oh and I did not notice that there was an off topic photography forum. Whoever gets to read this first gets the grand pleasure of moving it!

Buzz Killington

i feel so priviledged

great pics todd, love that one about looking straight ahead, not down

Irisbus Rider

Good photos, and it's such a nice snapshot of such a grand country.

Interesting to see a area outside of the city, with relativety low density housing, I like it, it's very nice.

Great photos Todd, keep them coming!

Carrie

At first I thought that you took that [first] pic in Ireland until I saw the traffic lights are side-ways not up and down. [I've been to Ireland and the little towns look very similar to your pic.] Great pix, Todd
