Some recent finds from RATEC that have been added to the ACT Bus Gallery. There's lots more to be added, but I'll only post highlights here. For more of what's been uploaded, you can check the RSS feed on the Gallery (note this link may not work on mobile devices): http://actbus.net/gallery/index.php/rss/feed/gallery/latest

Gee don't ever recall seeing 412 with the top blue livery and don't recall the fleet numbers on the roof like 566 and 472 show in the pics. Then again I was a Belco boy, so in my time the MAN's never ventured our way (yeah know before Belco depot there were some). Brings back memories of when I took buses more seriously than I do today.

I believe the roof-line fleet numbers occurred post-refurb (which would also explain why there aren't any on the front of the bus) - this article covers the refurb program: http://actbus.net/the-action-line-on-refurbishing/

Not sure when the trial liveries were done, I'll see if I can find that info.

The buses from years gone by are more interesting. I don't mind some of the newest buses in the fleet but none really have anything on the old MAN, Mercs or even the older Renaults. My interest is certainly more on the older fleet and thankfully in going through the RATEC slides and negatives we've been able to fill in a lot of gaps in our image collection.
