Hi all,

I'm a Brisbanite and I am looking into the fuel consumption (per km) for the CNG buses we have (the Scania L94UB and MAN 18.310 I think)...

Can anyone help me?  ???

Thanks in advance,

Welcome to the forum!

All the specifications we have for ACTION Buses are located on this page: http://www.actbus.net/index-info.html

Unfortunately it doesn't look like we have fuel consumption on there, but somebody else, perhaps one of the drivers, may have an answer for you.

Thanks Buzz!

I did have a look there and couldn't find the info...

... Are there any drivers out there that know how much fuel these CNG buses use in MJ per km or MJ per passenger-km?

:)

I have been told that a bus on a full tank could do something like 6 of the old 313 routes (19 from Lanyon to Tuggeranong & then a 313 to Fraser if you were wondering). These use to be around 64k's each way (that might be a tad off).
I am not sure though if it was a 313 loop or just 313 in one direction though.

A full Scania can do about 14 hours worth of driving.

I'm not sure how the fuel is measured in ACTIONs gassies as only 341 has a gas fuel gage in it and it only goes to '8'

The STA gas buses are measured on bars and go up to about 200 i think. That much can easily do like 10 - 12 hours of driving

Every Scania has a gas gauge on it, and they go to 200. Measured in bar.
