Nominations are now open for Photo of the Month for June 2012. In addition to being shown on the actbus.net front page for a month (and added to the POTM archive), the winning photo will also be loaded to ACT Bus on Facebook and, if suitable, will be used as the cover photo for the ACT Bus facebook page.

Here are the rules:

  • no more than two photos per user
  • photos must be from ACT or contain former ACT bus
  • photos must PROMINENTLY include a bus (bus must be main subject of photo - must be in focus and identifiable)
  • photos must not have been previously submitted for POTM
Refer here for full ACT Bus photo submission conditions.

Submissions close midnight 24 May.

Hi Everyone,

Here are my two entries for June.

The first photo is of (75) 1941MO (NSW) MAN SL200 / CAC with Martin's of Albury heading down Fallon Street for an afternoon school run. This bus was ACTION (524).

And the second photo is of Deanes of Queanbeyan (231) still in its attractive original livery of Transborder. It is a Custom Coaches bodied Volvo B7R.

A reminder that nominations close midnight tomorrow (Thursday)
