Sydney Bus 2038 Engine Good or Bad?

Bus 400

On Saturday I took Sydney Buses Bus 2038 from Sydneham Station to City & to me the engine sounded a bit sick. But I am wondering I was right in saying that. According to Bus Australia Fleetlists (http://www.busaustralia.com/fleetlists/indbusdata.php?reqtype=2038+ST+) Bus 2038 is a Volvo B12BLE Euro 5

Was this your first B12 experience?

From what I have heard, it sounds about normal, sometimes, they can get a bit noisy, but generally, that is what they are like.

Well my first experience up the back of the bus.

Fair enough. Yeah, they're usually like that, and that constant rurruruuur noise is the A/C compressor IIRC. They're really mundane buses, whilst they do the job well, they do it in an incredibly boring way.

B7s are much much better on so many different levels!
