Title: Brodburger
Post by: Toyota Camry on July 05, 2018, 09:39:41 PM
I have tried this new, upmarket burger chain; I have found that the burgers are quite good, but the waiting time for food is quite long.

It is also unfortunate that all of their stores are too close together; it is too long of a bus trip or drive to their nearest store from my home in Gungahlin. I am more often a patron of Hungry Jack's in Gungahlin, as is another colleague from my office; as they also offer a good burger.

Brodburger has been around for quite a while, originally starting as a Food Van which at one stage moved to Braddon, although this was badged as Brodogs, not sure if it was the same one or not, where it was selling in a 'popup' food area, now the van is the 'store' at Capital Brewing Co. at Fyshwick. I believe the Glassworks store came next and there appears to be an ANU one now as well. I have also seen the brodogs van in Sydney at events selling hot dogs.

I am unsure though why it takes around 20-30 minutes per order, especially when their menu isn't that big. Perhaps they freshly 'pound' the meat patties?
