Title: Destination boards
Post by: aidenh37 on May 16, 2014, 02:38:02 PM
I've noticed that the buses with scrolling Destros are better at Kippax terminus. The other slideshow-like ones create confusion there as to which way the bus is going! It delays the bus a lot, too.

I think you're confused. Destination signs are for decorative purposes only. Just ask the driver where the bus is going. Much simpler.

I see everyone ask it delays the driver!!! I like the newer type. Even the ones on the Scania Gas are better...
I guess it is better to have the orange type so it can be read.

There's a lot of things that need to be fixed on the destination signs. Some just aren't capable of scrolling, but others could do with having more than just a static final destination.

As you may notice, all bus routes going through Kippax on the weekdays in Network 2014 will terminate somewhere in West Belconnen or Belconnen Town Centre. This should eliminate this problem. Until more detail is given, we have no word on weekend services. But hopefully there are changes in the NXTBUS system to fix this issue in the near future.
