Canberra Railway Station comes alive on Easter Saturday with the sights and sounds of steam trains at the Easter Steam Spectacular.

Steam Train Rides-

Feel the history by taking a 45 minute round trip to Queanbeyan and return, hauled by classic steam locomotive 3016 and special guest locomotive 3642

Locomotive 3642 has been availed from our supporters at the New South Wales Rail Transportation Museum in Thirlmere for our Easter trips and is on-show in Canberra for a limited time – It has nearly been three decades since this engine last visited Canberra - see this beautiful piece of machinery working in the Nation's Capital!

5 Steam train rides to choose from.

Explore the footplate of one of the ACTs living treasures locomotive 1210, specially steamed for the day.
