Summer holidays means that there is not as much mainstream work around for SNT staff; from time to time, some are redeployed on fleet detailing work. For example, at Tuggeranong, an effort is being made to spruce up the artics in readiness for the new school year. Understand that one artic per weekday is being put through detailing this month.

On a larger scale, opportunity is being taken to send some of the Scanias up to Sydney for 'transmission work'. Don't know how many are up there, but I suspect 337 'Wilhelmina' is one which has been despatched...haven't seen it around for a long time.
