YouTube of Old line into Broad Street Station, London

The Broad Street Station is one of the few (if only) London terminus stations to have been closed in modern times.

Fortunately part of the station site was later re-used to allow for the expansion of Liverpool Street Station in the 1980s and 1990s. This video from the 1970s shows a British Rail driver's view of what the main line into Broad Street Station from Dalston Junction looked like in its dying days.

This old right of way is now being rebuilt for part of the East London Line extension using the old viaduct that forms the basis of this old route. Curious soundtrack too - bits of Dr Who theme may be?
