* This bus was a stock unit purchased from Sydney Dealer Suttons Motors Pty Ltd at the time of the 1974 vehicle shortage.
* It entered service at Belconnen Depot on 27 June 1983.
* It was first registered on 15 March 1974.
* This vehicle was the first bus equipped with ABS braking to enter public service in Australia.
* Unlike all other 1974 vehicle shortage buses, Bus 227 remained in service until 1978.
* This vehicle was last in service with Veolia (60). It is marked as withdrawn but no further detail is available.
* Following disposal from the Canberra bus fleet it was transferred to the Department of the Capital Territory Special Duty Fleet and used as spare bus, re-registered as ZIE 404.
