* Vehicle fleet number allocation (099) is not official.
* It was first registered on 12 July 1989
* 217-499 was registered in July 2020.
* Its National Gallery 'Elvis Lives' all over advertisement was launched in August 1989.
* This vehicle is used for Special Needs Transport/Flexible Bus Service, except as noted below.
* On 4 July 1992 it was transferred from Kingston Depot to Tuggeranong Depot.
** Between June and November 2021, 217-499 was based at Belconnen Depot while it operated a shuttle service between the Airport terminus and the nearby Covid-19 vaccination clinic.
* Bus 808 was fitted with a trial Alcatel Flipdot Destination Display
** From 25 July 2022, 217-499 is operating a shuttle service between Fairbairn Business Park and Canberra Airport.
* This vehicle was reportedly popular with drivers (particularly the Elvis fans!)
