* Bus 701 was delivered to ACTION in March 1988
* It is the second Hino AC140 to use this registration. Refer to [[BUS 016 (2)]] for the previous vehicle.
* Bus 701 was withdrawn from service at Tuggeranong Depot on 17 January 2013.
* It was one of ten ACTION 'Special Needs' Buses loaned to the Olympic Roads Transport Authority during 2000. These vehicles performed shuttle services during the Sydney 2000 Olympics and Paralympics.
* It was sold to Wisby's Buses, Hobart with [[BUS 702 (1)|BUS 702]] and [[BUS 710 (1)|BUS 710]]. It departed Tuggeranong Depot on 2 May 2013 after being retrieved by Woden a few days prior.  
* It was transferred from Belconnen to Woden Depot on 13 April 2010.
* It was withdrawn from service in late March or April 2013.
* In June 2013 it was transferred to Pickles Auctions (Fyshwick) for disposal.
