Bus 971 is a Renault PR100.2 based at Tuggeranong Depot. It is painted in a special livery.
- Since delivery, Bus 971 has been in special livery for ACTION. A common misconception is that the bus (along with sister units 963 and 967) advertises the National Dinosaur Museum, however the dinosaur skeletons that make up the livery actually encourage people to "Take ACTION (to) conserve our fossil fuels"
- Bus 971 was fitted with a DL2 bike rack in June/July 2010.
- Its Alcatel/STC Cannon flipdot destination displays were replaced with Hanover LED equipment in early 2016 (January or February).
- "Conserve our fossil fuels" (ACTION) - 1992 to Current - Aqua, with a dinosaur skeleton on all sides and slogan 'Take ACTION - Conserve our fossil fuels'
