Buses 963, 967 and 971 are Renault/MACK PR100.2 (“Mk2”) buses bodied by Ansair, which entered service with ACTION in mid-1992.

These three buses feature the last surviving painted special livery, encouraging Canberrans to “Take ACTION (to) conserve our fossil fuels.”

This livery is sometimes mistakenly believed to be an advertising livery for the National Dinosaur Museum, due to the dinosaur skeletons forming the design. These buses are affectionately referred to as the “dinosaur buses” and can often be seen performing charters for pre and primary schools.
