The Featured Bus for May/June 2016 is the German bus manufacturer: M A N


Since 1975, ACTION has been home to 283 buses made by MAN Truck & Bus of Munich, Germany (previously known as Maschinenfabrik Augsburg-Nürnberg AG).

The first MAN was ZIB-410, a SL200 model, which was delivered in July 1975 as part of an initial order of ten. The most recent MAN was Bus 502, an A69 18.320 which entered service in July 2012.

  • SL200: Smithfield Bus & Coachworks body (1980-81), 569-579 – 11 buses

  • SG192: MAN/Göppel body (1976-78, 1985), 450, 510, 532, 671 – 4 buses
  • SG192: Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation body (1979. 1986), 533-551, 673 – 20 buses
  • SG192: Custom Coaches body (1986), 672 – 1 bus
  • SL202: Ansair body (1991), 734-735 – 2 buses
  • A69 18.310 HOCL-NL CNG: Custom Coaches CB60 II body (2008), 374-389 – 16 buses
  • A69 18.310 HOCL-NLTEP / A69 18.320 HOCL-NL/E5 Diesel: Custom Coaches CB60 II body (2009-12), 390-463, 491-505 – 89 buses
