Bus 672 was a MAN SG192 Articulated Bus with a Custom Coaches body which operated for ACTION between January 1986 and July 1992.
The vehicle was built for MAN as a demonstrator in 1982. Between 1983 and November 1985 it was loaned to Brisbane City Council, where it operated with fleet number 999 (the designation usually allocated to evaluation buses) and registration 935-OQV.
ACTION, needing to increase their articulated fleet, purchased this bus second-hand, taking delivery on 2 January 1986. Until 2012 (when the Custom CB80-bodied Scania K360UA articulated buses entered service), it had the distinction of being the only Custom Coaches-bodied articulated bus to operate in Canberra.
672 was removed from service in July 1992 at the same time as the closure of Kingston Depot, and was sold in July 1993. Since leaving Canberra, it has operated for International Stagelines, Premier Nowra and National Bus Lines.
