The ACT government’s marriage equality campaign has decorated Canberra’s streets following the release of two Transport Canberra buses, which have been wrapped in rainbows.
Transport Canberra’s long awaited trial of alternative energy buses will commence next week.
ACT Transport Minister Meegan Fitzharris today revealed the two buses which will participate in the twelve month trial, a fully-electric BYD Toro bus supplied by Carbridge and a Volvo B5RLEH Hybrid.
Two electric buses will hit Canberra roads next month, after the ACT government signed a contract with Carbridge.
A brand new model of articulated bus will join the Transport Canberra bus fleet this week as part of the ACT Government’s replacement and enhancement program.
Bus 620 is a Scania K320UB 4×2, with a Custom CB80 body, which commenced service in December 2016.
