Bus 551 operating a school service
Back in the day, rather than having all school timetables available online, ACTION would publish an annual listing of all school services. Route 982 was introduced in Network 2008
Phase One of Network 08 commenced 2 June 2008. It comprised of the new Network 08 services on Weekdays and old Network 06 services on weekends until a sufficient number of drivers could be recruited to implement the new Network 08 services on weekends.
It was replaced on 2 February 2009 with Network 09, which still consisted of the Network 06 services on Weekends. (more…)
The major changes introduced with Network 06 were large cuts to frequency across the board. 40 minute frequencies were cut to 60 minutes. Flexibus was also scrapped and fixed night and weekend loop services returned. Nightrider and Christmas Day services were also renumbered, and a few peak Gungahlin services were cut. The Network was met with much criticism due to the service cuts. (more…)
Flexibus was introduced in 2005.
Network 05 was introduced on Tuesday, 26 April 2005. Changes of note included:
– Easy Access buses on all intertown services
– Frequency on Route 300 now 20 minutes instead of 30 after 7pm
– Route 300 travels via Erindale at 7pm
– Flexibus services introduced to most suburbs
– Transfer time 90 minutes from 1 April 2005 (more…)

Network 2000 was introduced on 11 September 2000
