  • ComfortDelGro announces it has acquired Deanes Transit Group for $53 million
  • Deanes Canberra-Cooma service ends on 10 August due to low patronage.

  • Bus 122 is transferred to Tuggeranong Depot for use as a training bus.
  • Buses 141, 142 and 156 are transferred to Woden Depot
  • Bus 101 suffers an engine fire in Theodore

September

  • The ACT Government announces a parliamentary loop service for the Centenary year.
  • 50% of ACTION’s fleet climate controlled
  • Buses 509, 510 and 511 are delivered
  • Bus 506 enters service
  • Bus 724 is withdrawn from service
  • Bus 123 is transferred to Tuggeranong Depot for use as a training bus but is later returned to Woden; Bus 861 is later selected as the Tuggeranong Depot training bus.
